August Meeting Notes
Here are some of the things we discussed at this months meeting:
1. Breakout 08′ – (Syracuse Missions Trip) www.breakoutusa.net August 10-15 This is a missions trip for teens to reach out and do ministry in our own city. It’s a full week (Sunday through Friday) staying at a host church w/ @ 100-150 teens going into 5 different inner city church’s and helping them serve and reach the lost. Come and check it out even if it’s one day or one event downtown or one service at night. You can see the schedule under downloads at bcyonline.com.
2. Youth Alive Prayer: We discussed the importance of prayer for this upcoming school year to make an impact to teens through youth alive. One of our goals is to allow every teen in this are to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. So we are having prayer meetings at the different schools… praying for God to use Youth Alive Missionaries to reach out to the lost and serve there, praying that God will move in the schools, etc
So far:August 19: Central Square from 11a.m. – noon
August 26: CNS from 11a.m. – noon
More to come in the future. Please let me know if you’d like to have prayer at your schools and I will send the email out to the masses.
3. Youth Alive Missionary Training: September 14th – Believers Chapel – 1p.m. – 4p.m. (Lunch Provided) Bring your student leaders after church service who want to be Youth Alive Campus Club leaders. We will train and equip student leaders and youth leaders on how to start and run a youth alive campus club.
5. Campus Kickoff – September 20th – 6p.m. at Northside Baptist Church on Route 57.
This annual SAYW event is to promote See You At The Pole and Youth Alive Campus Clubs. It is a time for all of our teens to Unite together with other kids from their school to strategically reach out and serve their campuses.
3. SAYW Family BBQ/Pool Party: Monday, September 15th – Chuck Klinger’s home – 5p.m.
Come join us and bring your family as we come together to build better stronger relationships.
5. Campus Kickoff – September 20th – 6p.m. at Northside Baptist Church on Route 57.
This annual SAYW event is to promote See You At The Pole and Youth Alive Campus Clubs. It is a time for all of our teens to Unite together with other kids from their school to strategically reach out and serve their campuses.
5. SYATP – See you at the Pole. September 24th. Teens all around the nation gather around their schools flag pole and pray for their school, nation, etc. We also use this to kickoff Youth Alive in the Schools.

Todd also asked for all to bring in 2 resources to the next lunch….
1. What you use for sunday school and
2. your favorite paint ball places. Or least favorite.
